
Calvin Broadus Jr., aka Snoop Dogg, introduced a new addition to his marijuana investments: his coming website Merry Jane.
The rap star made the announcement on Monday at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco. The three-day gathering brings together new startups, technologies and key figures in the tech industry. On stage, Snoop Dogg described the site as a media, education and entertainment site for marijuana enthusiasts.
Other big discussions at the conference included the development of a GoPro GPRO, +6.34% drone and Facebook’s FB, +0.83% “click to message” ads. Snoop Dogg said the website is intended to be a comprehensive resource for all things marijuana, and will help bring the practice of cannabis consumption into the mainstream. read more
